I've been using you to keep me up to date, really haven't been following on my own for over a week. Kinda baseball burnout after draft time.
Makes sense..I used all of you guys to keep me informed on the draft, and now are seeing names I recognize. The kid Price for South Carolina that the O's drafted closed out South Carolina's win last night in fact.

Yeah the WS is always fun in that sense where you may not know who these kids are when they are drafted, but then you'll see them right there on the big screen in high leverage situations during this week and go ahhhhh. Especially when it's the later than 3rd round guys.

Exactly. I always watch the CWS and get motivated to pay more attention the following season, and never do.

Don't feel bad, I only do cause it's a hobby of mine

I keep up with the ACC pretty well, and I try to follow a couple local schools and some of the top prospects, but it's a LOT to keep track of, and by the time you get it down, you get to throw it out and start all over again the next season.

If you enjoy it, keep rollin with it..I'd love to pay attention more, but I work 7 days a week, have 2 young kids...etc.
Oh, and I'm lazy.

Yeah that's why I've never taken things another level, work and 2 under 4 years old at home make it REALLY tough to find time for all that. I had to kill myself to make it out to 4-5 games this season live.
I suppose if a team came along and wanted to pay me to do this area I'd give it plenty of time though

Careful what you wish for. Scouting and watching a game are completely different things, and once you start picking apart little details and stop watching the "what" and start trying to figure out the "how" it's almost impossible to turn off. I went to a MD Blue Crabs game last season and found myself picking apart Val Majewksi's swing instead of watching a 3-4 indy league game. It loses the fun factor.

I can imagine having some of the enjoyment sucked out of it...Good call.

Sorry, Seth, I've had a busy couple weeks and haven't posted as much. I'm only now catching up on what's been going on.

I can't believe Kent St. and Arkansas are still alive in this thing. If Kent St. beats S. Carolina tonight, it's going to blow me away and convince me that anything can happen in this year's tournament.
Kent St. beating Florida in an elimination game? Are you kidding me?

The only team to ever win 3 in a row was USC from 1970-1974 (5 in a row). None of the other dynasty programs (LSU, Stanford, Arizona St., Texas, Miami) has ever gotten more than 2.
I think they'll do it.
