This is actually true. Shack might be more level headed than me during game threads. Step outside of that forum and I feel like Im less of a doom and gloomer than he is a orange kool aid drinker.
Well, here's what it boils down to: I just don't grok the concept of being a fan and not being hopeful. It's really as simple as that...

Being a fan doesn't give you the excuse to be unbiased or unrealistic.

But that's what pessimists always say...
In actual fact, most of what we talk about is ambiguous... it's stuff that could go either way... and based on the last 3 years, it's gone right a whole lot more than it's gone wrong... so, if you go by actual facts, then being optimistic is more supportable than all the doom and gloom stuff...
