REM Fans, any thoughts on this list?

#1 is also my favorite REM song as well, which is pretty cool.

Shouldn't you just specifically ask Pedro for his thoughts? ;)<br />

Very solid list. I'd have to think for a minute on my top 10 songs list.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

I'm actually surprised you're not an REM fan.

They're alright. I'll give them more of a chance sometime. I haven't listened to their non radio stuff much at all.

My two favorite albums are "New Adventures in Hi-Fi" and "Out of Time" but those are both "mainstream" records. So I'd say go with "Murmur" instead of "Out of Time"

Murmur is great. One of my favorite albums. Yeah, MWeb... check those out. I'm not an R.E.M. expert like PC or Seth, but you should definitely check those albums out.

Used to be into them for a while in the 80s & 90s but checked out after the Monster Tour in 1995.

Have a lot of their early albums and best of stuff on my play lists.  Saw them live 2 times...one show sucked and one was really good. I kind of think their indie spirit was picked up in the 90s by Pearl Jam and they have carried the torch since.

Not sayinh PJ is the only band w/ indir spirit, but the one that people have heard of.

BTW...if you like music go watch the movie called "CBGB".
