Everyone should take advantage of the last few days of Christmas / New Years sales and stock up on rib roasts. I had a 6 pounder that was part of Christmas dinner (took the ribs off and will smoke them sometime in the future), have a 11 lb one that I'm dry aging for future use. May go back and buy another monster and either dry age or slice up into steaks and freeze. Can't beat $5-6/lb for ribeye!
The Giant near me had ones that had a good bit of marbling. Safeway ones had barely any but that's the one I'm dry aging so should get tender from that.
