I think its the writers. NPH started off good, impressive opening number. The person writing his jokes should be fired.
Yea but I don't think he carries himself as a great host either.
I don't really like Ellen but Ellen was a stand up comedian. She has a different type of presence about her.
And yes, I know NPH has been on Broadway but this is different.
Amy Schumer is doing the mtv movie awards. Now, I don't have any desire to watch those and haven't ever...but her hosting it makes me want to watch it. Not sure I will but that makes me consider it.
Someone like Carrell would be great...Jim Carrey would probably be good.
Fallon would probably be great but ABC won't put him on.

Fallon would be money. Carrey 15 years ago would be good, but hes all preachy and holier than thou these days.

That's the definition of Hollywood nowadays.

By all means..kick people off the stage quickly but let the president of the academy ramble on and on.
I liked the Documentary Short speech where the band started playing the winners off, then one of them mentioned her son who killed himself and there was practically a record-needle screetch as the band just stopped.

Why is Oprah here again? Sitting as close as she is, with all the nominees? She is going to be sorely disappointed when Selma doesnt win.
Because she's Oprah F-----g Winfrey, and she'll sit where she damn well pleases
I just like that the guy who got the seat next to her (and Steadman) is The Rock.

Being there is one thing. Showing her every 5 f'ing seconds is annoying as hell.

This is not a platform for all of your issues....political or otherwise. Worst part of BSL for sure.

Amy Schumer, in my opinion, is about as funny as a bag of sand.
And the fact that she's got Judd Apatow directing some movie she's the star of makes me question any and everything about Hollywood.
Lemme get two claps and a Ric Flair

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty
