Gotta give a shout out to my alma matter Salisbury University for overcoming unusual circumstances on Saturday and took down Stevenson (those guys are jerks! )

Goalie goal! Albany's goalie just took it down the field himself and scored to end the 3rd quarter. Threw a nice stick-fake in there too before sticking it top corner. And the guy's name is Blaze. Only in lacrosse.
Awesome highlight play to start the tourney.

Right now, they remind me of the Duke team of a few years ago who won it all after a very shaky start to the season.
Tough draw with Syracuse in the quarterfinals, but their defense and goaltending has looked so improved, it could get interesting.
All the matchups in the quarters look great. I hate to say it, but I think Albany over Notre Dame is one of the big upsets to watch out for.

The Hopkins-SU game is in Annapolis so it will be a bit of a home game for the Blue Jays, they've been on a roll lately so they may not need the extra advantage.
With the way Albany played and ND's struggles against Towson I agree that there's a good chance of Albany winning, but I wouldn't call it an upset at all. Albany is a great team, even better than last year's team that took ND to OT in the NCAA's

Albany really got shut down in the 4th quarter, after scoring 5 straight in the 3rd I thought they might win that won but you gotta give credit to ND. Irish defense really shut down Thompson, I was surprised with how ineffective he looked.
Doesn't get much better than Hopkins-Cuse, that's the way the game is supposed to be played. Back and forth and fast paced/high scoring. I only got to watch about a quarter in a half of this one but I might have to check out the replay.
Big win by the Terps as well, having a healthy Raffa back at the X is huge. Controlling and winning faceoffs is huge, those extra possessions can have a big impact on the game.

Love these semifinal matchups. Especially awesome to see an all-Maryland semi.
I can't stand Tierney so I was hoping OSU would win that game.

This will be the 10th time that both of Maryland's lacrosse teams (men and women) have made it to the Final Four, and the 7th straight time that the women have made it.

Terps women move on to their second straight National Championship with their 10-8 win over Syracuse tonight. They'll play North Carolina on Sunday night for the title. Insanely talented team that Cathy Reese has in College Park.

If you DVR's the Denver-ND game, avoid spoilers and just watch the last 5 minutes...
