Where do you guys rank Big L? Or Gang Starr for that matter?

Gang Starr was aiiiiight. Moment of Truth was nice, but their older stuff ehhhh. I don't know what it was about them, like a poor man's Blackstar for me, not bad, just middle of the pack. It's one of those tough ones cause they might have had a big one coming down the line, but he got killed before they really popped.

Big L I wasn't really in on, had to look him up honestly.

Jeeeeeeeeez.

Ok, you get big points on that one, holy shit that was nasty. I don't know how he slid under my radar, he could have been a mega star. Damn that's sad.

New Gang Starr feat. J. Cole. It feels so good to hear an original verse from Guru again. RIP

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Anyone go see Wu last night?

I was kinda glad I didn't, you know being old with kids and all, cause I had a long week and early sports today was rough but I saw a couple friends post videos last night and got a little sad I didn't tough it out.

Where was the show?

I saw them in November. Great show. Glad I could finally say I saw them all together, live, at least once.

Dude, Guru died of cancer 7 years after Gang Starr broke up. They're one of the most celebrated rap groups around. 6 classic albums.

I dunno why, just never really into them. It's not like a cringed when I heard them like U2 or something, but was never really a big fan.

All good...they’re probably my favorite rap group. Better consistency than Wu Tang Clan even.

Life After Death was a tad overrated when it first came out but over time it’s been forgotten.

It’s a fantastic record.

It is. Listened to it again recently. Not an album I usually put on, never really liked the Puffy production but it’s a great album regardless.

Big L - one of the best pure rappers there ever was. Could have been as big as Jay Z if he'd played his cards right.

Gang Starr - my favorite rap group. Underrated. Some of the best production and beat making in rap history.

Only Built 4 Cuban Linx turned 25 over the weekend. One of the best rap albums of all time.
