I puked a watching Wagner be absolutely bitched in that last gif. We have to be careful about how good we think our OL is in pass protection based on last year. The system better continue to call for Joe getting the ball out quickly most of the time. If we deviate from that in '15 the sacks will shoot back up again.Grantland: Free-Agent Report Card: Which Teams Made the NFL’s Honor Roll?

I post this here instead of the Dolphins thread because of a point Florio makes in the story:
Teams usually won’t fully guarantee large amounts because the NFL requires teams to fund the fully-guaranteed payments at signing. In this case, Dolphins owner Stephen Ross will be required to write a check for $60 million, with Suh getting plenty of it up front and the rest going to an escrow account for future distribution.
Other teams (and likely the league office) won’t like this. If owners who have the cash to make that kind of commitment start making that kind of commitment, they’ll have a huge advantage when it comes to signing players. Eventually, the richest owners will take over the league.
As wealthier people buy into the NFL, could this be a way of circumventing the salary cap and creating a competitive advantage on the open market?

The NFL has been the best about taking competitive balance seriously. I would expect them to nip anything in the bud. It's actually one thing the NFL does very well and should be applauded for doing.http://profootballta...lly-guaranteed/

Saints get Unger, Sea 1st and 4th. Good trade for them. I think Graham has lost a step. Still will be good, but I think Saints sold high here.

So Willis, Locker, and now Worilds, all retiring completely out of the blue, and all three surely able to continue their careers otherwise.
Anyone else find that strange, and wonder if there might be a trend about to surface?
