My (step)daughters softball team won the first game of the end of season playoffs last night in a steady rain! They came back to win the game in the bottom of the 6th after giving up the lead in the top of the 6th!

Asked my woman what she wanted for her birthday dinner. She said "McDonald's fries".

And they are playing the Dodgers so I get to see Yasiel Puig in person!

After deciding yesterday to participate in my sister in law's yard sale this morning, and spending about an hour and a half getting stuff together last night, we have made almost $300 cash!!

Bought an old beater pickup truck recently because my daughter is going to be driving soon.  1994 Ford Ranger with 160,000 miles, V6 4.0, manual transmission.

I love working on this thing and driving it.  I don't have any mechanical background, other than basic maintenance, but there are so many resources on the net for these trucks.   So far I've done:

- Oil change

- Spark plugs and wires

- Coolant flush

- Replaced ignition switch

- New tranny fluid

- Rear diff fluid

- Transfer case fluid

- Front diff fluid

It had a rusty valve cover that was leaking, so I spent yesterday and today replacing both of those.  I had to take apart half the dang truck to get to it, but it was a lot of fun.

Next is rear shocks.

Nice.  AT&T is my favorite park (I've been to 28/30) and San Francisco is my favorite US City to visit.  If it wasn't so expensive and so far from home I'd move there in a second.

Enjoy your trip.

Sorta.....I paid off my car tonight as well....and no CC debt, although I pay that off every month.

But yes, the house debt will be there but with no other debt, it will help as I get something bigger and more expensive.

Just a nice feeling though, that's for sure.
