Considering the source, probably just fake, woke news - but man this gave me the goosies. Great story. A 12-year old kid got hit in the head with a pitch, and when he saw the pitcher was distressed from it, went to the mount to give him a hug.

I saw the video of it this morning. I got a little choked up. Poor kid, he was SOBBING no one from his team would come near him, not even the coach, but the kid who got hit drops his helmet and goes to give him a hug and calm him down. You could see the ump in the video he just didn’t even know what to say.

So naturally, I’m golfing. Pre-scheduled but at least it’s nice out. I’ll have the O’s game on the radio in the cart.
Fun sports night. Got the Os and Sox along with Ravens preseason and the Field of Dreams game. Plus the heat wave finally broke. Enjoy!

Smoking my first brisket this weekend. This is the most challenging thing I've done, so fingers crossed it goes well.

It's interesting (sometimes enjoyable, sometimes frustrating, or both) to look back at old threads on here.
I also had my curiosity piqued after seeing an old thread closed after I made the last post. A good ole WTF did I do McNulty moment. Maybe I knew the deal at the time and since forgot.
Anyway, good times.

First time seeing Alice in Chains last night. Good time to go with Bush and Breaking Benjamin also with them on the tour.

It's funny, Ben Burnley said during the show that the first concert he ever went to was Alice in Chains and the second was Bush. Lots of crossover among their fans.

Great sports weekend coming up. 4-1 MD against Purdue with Texas/OU A&M/Alabama. NFL Sunday, ravens SNF. Tons of playoff baseball.
Good stuff.
Oct is the best month period.

Breaking: A Connecticut court rules Alex Jones owes Sandy Hook victims over $1 billion.
Just a fun tidbit to add on to this. These judgements aren't able to be dismissed by bankruptcy because they were given on intentional tortuous reasoning.

does it really matter? Most large judgements awarded by the court, are just smoke and mirrors and the money never gets to the victims.

That's why this does matter. They are awarded but easily dodged by bankruptcy in most cases. In these, they never go away, which means you can garnish wages and place liens on assets for them, and he can't get around them unless he works completely off the grid and paper trail the rest of his life.

Ask OJ Simpson if it mattered.
