What was the turnout for Halloween at y'all's houses vs last year? Curious how much the rain impacted stuff.

Seemed less to me. I contribute it to 3 factors. Rain, Monday, and some still aren't comfortable going due to Covid.

My grandkids barely went out, there was so many events in the previous days, like trunk and treats, Laurel Town Center treat or treat, Laurel Main Street trick or treat, and 2 harvest fests at local churches. Their candy bags was already full enough.

Yeah, I'd never really heard of trunk or treats until about 5 years ago, now I feel like there's several every night leading up to Halloween. Just feel like Halloween night itself isn't quite the event it has been in the past.
That said, the neighborhood where we went was still pretty crowded, and my kids (who show no sign of wanting to stop) all had a good time.

I can't imagine the 3rd one is much of a factor anymore. But the weather I am sure kept some from going out.

Swapped out my crappy stock headlights for LED ones. Makes a huge difference. Easy to install and relatively cheap.

See, you and Herm would be great buddies. Especially on the day it goes live in MD.
Legalized it.

I'm already a card carrying member, happy to celebrate with whoever wants, at any time.

2021 was a difficult year but doctors, medicine, and some good old fashioned stressful optimism got us to this point. Still 5-6 months to go but everything is looking great.

It's a damn shame we don't have a section here for College Bowling, or at least a thread for the College Bowling Coaching Carousel, because this story is too good not to share.
The assistant coach for the Stephen F Austin women's bowling team (which has won two D-1 championships in recent years) resigned after admitting to an affair with a player. Noteworthy is the fact that his wife also happens to be the head coach. Some of his quotes in this article about it are...well, you should read it.
Also, a chef's kiss goes to the article's writer for the headline. Pure gold.

I love how he tries to play the victim. ( I didn't get paid, I took care of the kids, etc.) What a piece of garbage.

Right after he does the, “but it wasn’t illegal” routine.
