Trying really hard to not think about how much more amazing this would be had we come into NY 2 or 3 games back instead of 6...

Still fun to clinch the home field wild card, so lets go do that!  Put another blemish on Cole's record this year to make Yankees fans wary of his potential dominance in the postseason.

Yeah it is what it is.  Lets win one more just so the Yankees don't clinch the division against us.

Yep, not holding on to any miracle last 4 game everything goes right run... but leaving NY without them celebrating at the end of a game would be a nice touch at least.

Also remind them that we’re right there with them and they don’t really want any part of us in 2 weeks.

The O's should put Robert Andino in their dugout these last 4 games. Maybe he'd be a good luck charm. Or something.

I mean if we want a Yankees troll I think Mark Reynolds would work better lol

Would be great to prevent New York from celebrating a clinch in front of us.

The O's scored 9 runs last night without a homer.

That's a big positive

the weather is kind of crap but I'm sure they'll do everything they can to get the game in

I can't believe the Braves and Mets are playing a double header on Monday. That's absolutely insane. We gotta get this game in tonight.

Win this one and I think we can call the turnaround complete. I'm already convinced that the injuries were just too much to bear and now that we're healthier we're going to get a much better effort from this team. "Next man up" sounds good but when you're rolling a bunch of rookies and journeymen out there every night the results just might not be the same.

Why not dh holiday or heston?

Give him two days off back to back and let Adley rest up

Henderson is the one who could use a couple of days off but the kid just keeps on hitting.

Can’t waste the DH spot on Neo Wieters. He either catches or sits. He provides negative value as the DH

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

He has hit well as a DH so there's that silver lining I guess.

I would have used Kjerstad myself. Already said i wanted to give Rutsch as many days off as possible before the playoffs and today would have been an easy decision for me.
