Reds are hot but their pitching is bad and their two best SPs are hurt. We should be able to score runs off them.

A rain out and missing an Irvin start wouldn't be the worst thing.
I got tickets tomorrow and Wednesday. I might get to see some extra baseball.

They will almost surley play a DH tomorrow or Wed if its rained out. So still wont miss his start unfortunately.

I think we need to keep running out Irvin for another 3 to 5 starts. Hopefully he settles in and does better.

Only 1 off day the rest of the 1st half so he seemingly will get 2 or 3 more starts in the next few weeks.

I think it would be big for the Orioles if he can contribute the rest of the way. Camden Yards screams for left handed pitchers and outside of Coulombe our lefties have been streaky or ineffective.

10 for 50 off LHP. Not a single XBH. I have zero issues benching him vs lefty SPs.

Aaron Hicks batting cleanup was not one of the squares on my bingo card for this season.

I'm fine with it occasionally, wouldn't make it a rule or anything. Mateo actually has a 771 OPS vs LHP this year so that works. Urias is almost as bad as Henderson this year (562 to 544) and is traditionally a reverse guy, but never that bad before.

Only 536 since May 1, though. However, that's quite a bit better than his 389 (slaps head) v RHP in the same time, so good to get him on his strong side, I suppose.

I think we will see a lot of platooning for awhile.

I'm anxious to see De La Cruz. Kid runs like a pronghorn being chased by a cheetah and can deposit a pitch into the next zip code.
He also strikes out once every 3 1/2 plate appearances.

Lots of t-storm cells in the area. Thinking there will be a delay at some point.
