Don't know what his prospect status is but I'd guess he could be a solid reliever in a couple years.

Nearly 1/1 walk to k ratio? Ouch. When he was drafted I thought he was going to be a reliever.
Obviously he is getting stretched out, and more experience as a starter.
Would he benefit from moving to the pen, and limiting the number of his pitches (not count, but what he throws)?

Tyler Wilson had a very strong start for Bowie today. 6 2/3 innings, 5 hits, 2 runs (both earned), 1 walk, 4 Ks, 106 pitches. It's been fun watching him this season.

He's been arguably my favorite pitcher to watch this season besides Zach Davies.

Unfortunately, I think he is a AAAA pitcher. Now, Mike Wright probably has lower upside than Wilson as a SP but he'll transition into a ML RP. Dont think Wilson will be able to dial it up a notch and make any transition to any ML role. At least not as an average to above average one.

Be nice if he could add some weight by next year. I like what I've seen so far though.

Why? He looks like he's in pretty good shape to me.
