Well done Chris. Certainly lots to be excited about but you also fairly point out the potential flies in the ointment as well. Gonna be a fun ride for sure.

Agree with most of this. I have some comments but I don't want to just share the differences, so I'll walk through all of them.
1) Agree
2) Agree, but i think the John stuff still misses the intent/purpose (more comment)
3) Agree (my only comment is spend is a tool, you aren't better because you spend)
4) Agree (still feels like this is moved goalposts from 2019)
5) Agree (EARN TODAY)
6) Generally agree (some comment but doesn't matter)
7) <<shrug>> the issue with this is it's completely centered on information we don't have
8) I think Kimbrel will be excellent this year, everyone blows saves (except Britton in 2016)
9, 10, 11, 12, 15) You have to make choices, blah, blah, blah (more comments)
13) Adley is the only unicorn
14) I expect Burnes to win the CY
16) Discussed elsewhere, I'll say it again, just because Orioles ownership changes doesn't mean Scott Boras does
17) Sure (more comment)
Summary: AGREE

I don't think I've seen any comment on this anywhere...
...but the Orioles streak of not getting swept in a series is still in tact, correct?
Last year they set the modern record for consecutive non-sweep series. I think the 3 historically better (IIRC) are in the NL and earlier in the Century.
Ironically, they got swept out of the Playoffs by the Rangers, but postseason doesn't count for the record, right?
So streak still alive into 2024....+1 for Angels series.

That stat became irrelevant once they got swept in the playoffs.
