BTW, it looks like Cleveland is finally getting their act together, but would you make the Wiz the odds on favorite to win the East? I really would like to see what the Nets want for Brook Lopez -- Wall, Beal, Pierce, Lopez and Gortat is a sick starting 5.

Porter and firsts? Or do we just hang tight until KD gets here .

LOL....you probably really think Durant is coming back.
Was can win the East this year. They need to make an all in move. Make fun of Ernie all you want, but I guarantee you he has the balls to make all in moves.

The Wiz are playing very well, but no, I would not say they're the favorite. They have a legit shot, though, better than I thought before the season.

I'd say Washington is Durant's most likely landing spot. DC or the Lakers.

Hey does anyone remember that obnoxious thread where Nostranickle went on and on about Wall not being a max contract worthy player and talked all that shit on him?
And yes, I clearly made that post as a YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST nostranickle post that KD will come to DC! Usually emoticons stand for that, right?

Nostranickle is hilarious.
I'm pretty sure he just underestimated how bad the defenses of other teams were really going to be this year in his calculations, but John Wall is exactly what he said he'd be and nothing else.

Wall has stepped up his game. Still hasn't proven a thing in the playoffs.

Wiz win again 105-103 over Miami. Move to 19-6 on the season.
Was it the 74/75 team that did that? I believe that team played (and lost to) the Golden State Warriors in the NBA finals that season.

Should we go after Josh Smith now that Detroit has waived him? What's the cap consideration like for this team, it's fair to say I have zero clue how that meaningfully works in the NBA.

I can't believe Josh Smith didn't work out in Detroit!

Lost last night to the Bulls. I am very worried about this team's inability to beat the better teams in the league. They have had a soft, home-heavy schedule early. We will learn a lot about them this week when they hit the road for games at San Antonio, Dallas, Houston, OKC and New Orleans.
They beat the Clippers at home and the Cavs at home before they got hot. They need to do better against the top teams in the league. Especially at home.

Wiz are in the middle of a brutal stretch in the schedule. Already played Houston, Dallas, and OKC. Up next, in San Antonio and New Orleans, an easy one against NY, and then Chicago, Atlanta, San Antonio, Chicago. 1-2 so far.
