There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

Also a $10,000 charitable donation. I hope it was to the Human Fund.
What about the bronze of Tony Tarasco pointing up... did they give him that?

If #2 was such a great MFY, then he would've backed off a bit and given his team a chance to make the postseason... but he didn't... it's not debatable that he put himself first to the detriment of his team...
It wouldn't have really mattered...would his replacement have been that great? Probably not. NY is a bad baseball team, I don't care what anyone says. The money they gave McCann is insane for what he really provides.

It'll be nice that this should be the last time Yankee fans drown out the O's. (IF the fans start showing up more often!) Who are these clowns going to drive up from VIrginia to see when Jetes is gone. That catcher with three names?

Yes, sure, it could well have mattered.... he's only the 3rd best SS on his own team... and he's OPS'ing 600 in the 2-hole... if fhe was *trying* to hurt his team, what could be more effective than actively crippling both their D and their offense?
