I've always thought Pippen was underrated. Well I mean, not if you are going on the praise he got as one of the 50 greatest ever but a lot of people have always thought the Jordan was basically the only thing that made him, which I disagree with.
That's my major issue. I can accept that Pippen was a great player and a HOF. But top 50 all time? Eh, I dunno.
Have you ranked the top 50 or at least gone through other rankings? I think it would be difficult to list 50 names before him.
I'm also surprised that someone who puts so much weight on titles would only have one player in the top 50 from a team that won 6 titles. Why aren't you giving him extra credit for the titles?

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

BTW Scottie Pippen is 105th all time in career PER at around 18. Obviously not the be-all end-all but noteworthy.
Sure, but a lot of guys who played many fewer minutes are ahead of him. PER also doesn't account that much for defense. His best two PER seasons were when MJ was retired as he got to be much more of a focal point of the offense so it can be argued that he sacrificed some offensive numbers by playing with MJ.
He's 39th in Win Shares.
I give him extra credit for winning 6 titles and for his defense since it's not totally accounted for in stats.

Lets look at '96 Bulls:
Bosh vs Rodman: Relatively even.
Battier vs Kukoc: Landslide for the Bulls. Kukoc was a 20 PER guy.
Miller vs Kerr: Kerr shot over 51% from 3 point range. Miller has been injured and largely ineffective.
Chalmers vs Harper: Pretty close. Slight edge to Harper for D.
Anthony vs Longly: Close, but I'll go with Longley who wasn't a complete disaster on offense.
Haslem vs Wennington: Off year for Udonis, but I'll take him.
Assortment of other guys: Not much to speak of, Bulls guys have a better PER.
The key differences are Kukoc being way better than Battier and Kerr being a lights out shooter and thus better in his role than Miller.

Simply Wade for Howard. Could expand it some between those two if need be, or maybe get a third team involved.

Everybody is so quick to write of the Heat. As much as I'll be rooting against them, I'm more and more confident in them winning this game. If I could bet on this game I'd be hitting the Heat really hard.
BTW...the Heat are a very small favorite at -2.
I won't be shocked if they win tonight, but I would be surprised. Not because the game is in Boston, but because they looked unprepared in Game 5. If they were not ready emotionally for Game 5 at home, after losing 3,4.... hard to imagine them being ready to go tonight.
Of course, with everyone writing them off, they get to play with slightly less pressure.
I'm still sorry about Rose's injury, and the Bulls going out early. I think they were the best team in the East.

Holy S**T..LeBron's first half tonight...
I hope the haters were watching.
Epic.
Of course if they don't win he'll still be blamed assuming he can't keep this up, which would be almost impossible.
