Sure, there's a little. But not much. Even there, it's more of a neon highlighter color. I just remember this same discussion around that time. That uniform is mostly white and gray, much like their new uniforms.

Fair enough. I just think of yellow as the accent color for their uniforms anyway, so it's not like they're lacking it there

 

This is where Maryland is heading. And that depresses me. Not that they'll ever be in a position to have unis chosen for them by corporate decree for a championship game...

The thing to remember here is that this is great for recruiting. Not everyone likes Maryland's uniforms, which I totally get. But the kids they're recruiting freaking love them. A school like Maryland or Oregon can't really rely on a storied past and classic uniforms like Penn State or Alabama. They rely on modern flash, like these new uniforms and spread offenses.

Aside from this, I like the uniforms. Everyone complains when they wear green and yellow together in large swathes, but then they go with white and silver and it's still not good enough.

There is literally no creativity there whatsoever. Someone put the logo on sweater and called it day.

These are pretty damn ugly.  The 49ers have always had some nice looking uniforms, they really dropped the ball here.  The article mention the possibility of Gold,  I would've liked to seen that as alternate as opposed to black.

I dont like those either. Feel like the red and gold is too traditional to mess with. I have to disagree about doing an all gold alternate. They would look like drag queens. It reminds me of the god awful golden Wizards jerseys.

I wouldn't make it all gold though.   I was thinking gold jersey with either white pants (they've worn white pants in the past) or maybe red (not sure how that would look but it would be something different).  Anything would have been better than these though.

Black has never been in their color scheme so it's odd they're going with it. Clashes with the red and gold. I don't like it.

 

Now the all black Ravens uniforms....I like.

Those uniforms are pretty craptacular. It's almost like the black from the '90s shadow numbers ate the rest of the uniform. Ugh. Sure, it's a money grab, like many of the shirts in European soccer (especially top-flight clubs) have been in recent years. There are a lot of stupid people who will buy anything, but I hope there are are still few enough that this will be a failure.
