That's right, new feature: Karma!

It's like rep, only with a positive twist. If you like a post, you can click the green icon to give the author some karma points and an optional message.

You'll see the green plus sign on every post. Click that to start the process of giving karma.



There are some restrictions around how often you can give karma to the same person. The more karma you receive, the more karma points you can give.

Your karma count will appear below your name on your posts. You can click the link to see your recent karma received. You will also get a PM when you receive karma. Let me know if that gets annoying.






Let me know if you have any questions or if things aren't behaving like they should.

I 'd just like to point out as an FYI, you can remove the signature in TapaTalk by going to "Settings", "TapaTalk Signature" and selecting "None". I don't know why, but that stupid signature drives me crazy.

FYI - I think I have the signature disabled globally in the board's Tapatalk settings. Let me know if you still see it appear.

I just got to hope that some hold it against you that you post at the foxhole. Otherwise, I'll be just like Kobe to your Durant/LeBron, way more posts, but not nearly as much karma per post.

FYI on Karma, you can go to:

User Control Panel >
------- Board Preferences >
-------------- Edit karma settings

There you can turn off "Notify via PM", as well as a few other settings.

I'm thinking about trying to implement some karma icons that you can earn as you hit certain thresholds.

Can I get some opinions on the Maryland flag pieces in this screenshot?



We could even stack the pieces so that you can keep earning new icons without it stretching on forever:
