Just what the NBA needs, more consolidation of talent.

Only way Melo is gonna win anything.  If he latches on to better guys.

First thing we've agreed on all day.

I like that.

I look forward to all the complaints from those that complained about Lebron joining up with Wade and Bosh in large part because you shouldn't leave your team, but rather you should attract other stars to your spot.

This probably won't actually happen.

I wouldn't discount the possibility....but for it to happen, Melo has to make big concessions. I don't see him being that guy but who knows.

I do find it interesting that many consider the glory years of the NBA to be the chunk of the 80's that featured loaded Lakers and Celtics teams as well as the 90's when Jordan was active and his Bulls dominated. It doesn't seem like dominance and loaded teams are an issue for most, at least not historically.

Lots of money will have to be left on the table by he and the big 3.

I'm not a huge Melo fan as many of you know, but Olympic Melo is great, and on a team like this, he'd probably be a hybrid between that and the Knicks version of Melo.

The big 3 has already proven they are ok with that.....I just don't buy Melo will feel the same way...although, Melo and LBJ are close.

Are they ok with doing it again and likely at a greater level? Who knows? Maybe Lebron is willing to take the biggest hit considering how much he makes off the court.

Those teams were generally built. It wasn't a bunch of Mercs.

I don't think that ultimately matters much, I just think that's a convenient reason people use to explain why those dominant teams were great, but this one is an abomination. The Lebron hate is the primary reason.

No, it's far from just the LeBron haters that point it out and hold it against him.

It's an indisputable fact and it's an indisputable factor in weighing legacy.

No it's not it's just your dumb opinion. I don't see you hating on Karl Malone for joining the 2004 Lakers.
