It's a cheap argument, but one point in Jordan's favor in the debate is that he never lost a series in the Finals. This is Lebron's third failure.

I had to look up Mariano Rivera to check, but he didn't.I bet there is someone else. Good question though. Some random hockey player?? Messier??

And that's what I was saying earlier about not.putting him in the same category as MJ.
LBJ was very good this series. He was very good last year and I assume he was very good against SA back in '07.
I hear all the talk about his supporting cast sucking. You know what other wordly players do?? They make players around them better. Steve Kerr, BJ Armstrong, Bill Cartwright, Horace Grant, Luc Longley. These are nobody's if they aren't playing next to Jordan.
If the argument is, that players are or turn into scrubs playing with LeBron then it's fair to.ask.why he can't make players around him better.
It's embarrassing to lose this way. 3 straight games when you're the hands down greastest player in the world in the prime of your career.
LeBron clearly makes the players around him better...arguing otherwise is awful.

Did Leonard get MVP?
Yes.

Nope, that absolutely can't be the argument after watching this series.LeBron clearly makes the players around him better...arguing otherwise is awful.
You can't have it both ways. You can't play the scrub card and then tell me he makes players around him better.
Really, who did he make better in this series. Who did he make better in '07.

How can you not like this Spurs team?
So happy for Duncan - no one else has brought it up, but in his interview did he not make mention about the "close of his career"? Maybe he was just speaking vaguely, but have to wonder if he's leaning that way.

The 2009-10 Cavaliers won 61 games and made the EC semis. The 2010-11 Cavaliers, with the same top five in minutes per game outside of James (replaced by JJ Hickson) won 19 games.

Jan Vesely had a more noteworthy draft night though.

Yep, that's a good one.Technically, Unitas and probably some other Colts won the NFL Championship in 3 different decades.

Depends on how technical you want to get. The Colts win the 1968 NFL championship while the leagues were still officially independent, but they were already playing the Super Bowl (which of course they lost). They didn't win another NFL championship in the 1960s, pre- or post-SB.
