Golden State with the 109-105 win in LA... David Lee with 20 points, and 13 boards.
Curry and Thompson a combined 13 of 36, and they get the win. Pretty huge.

Barring an epic collapse by the Hawks, road teams are about to go 3-for-3 today.

So much for home court advantage, huh.
Weird, weird, weird.

Yep, though the Grizzlies are really gonna have to pull something out their ass to make it 4-for-4.

They always say that the easiest game to steal for a road team is game 1.
Hope it rings true for the Wiz tomorrow.

I just realized the O's and Wizards were playing at the EXACT same time. I mean the O's just play so many Sunday Night games at 7 PM. I think it was Tom Davis who said, "couldn't they have picked two other teams playing on Sunday?" I don't usually care too much about this stuff, but seems to me this shouldn't have happened in the first place.

For years, everybody bitched about ESPN's "lack of respect" for the O's...We're finally good enough to be on ESPN, so let's enjoy it. We all have DVR's, we can flip during commercials of whatever game you'd rather watch....etc. I'll probably tivo the Wiz.

Fortunately, I couldn't give a steaming pile about the Wiz. So hopefully the O's will have secured a victory just when it's time to switch over to the start of the Blazers/Rockets.

Yeah true. For me personally, I just don't like how the Wizards/O's are conflicting, selfish reasons I know. Don't worry, I'm sure tomorrow, we'll see plenty of comments about how the focus is on Boston, which it will be between them being champs and the Boston Marathon. People want it both ways on this kind of thing.

This would fall into the "we must find something to complain about all the time" category.
Go Wiz!
Go Blazers!
Go O's!

I don't like it either, but it's not some conspiracy or anything...Anyone who complains about "too much Marathon coverage" is an asshole that will lose my respect within seconds.

Oh dear God, I forgot....ESPN, Boston, Marathon....I will be muting the game and jamming to my Spotify playlists while watching. Please, O's, clobber the Red Sox and ruin the Chowderhead Slobberfest.

I don't think it's a conspiracy either and certainly not the biggest deal in the world that these events couldn't be at different times to fit my personal schedule. Having followed enough teams, I know the announcers and refs are against every team I root for. Maybe it has a little something to do with people latching on to the calls going your team (and overlooking the calls that go in your favor -- take the Markakis call, it went in our favor, so that's OK, we don't need to make a big deal about it) and getting caught up when the announcers talk negatively about your team.

It's not the Marathon though, it's the whole "Everyone must conflate the Marathon tragedy with the Red Sox" crap. Please. It's like how everyone said you had to root for the Yankees in the World Series after 9/11, unless you lived in Arizona....otherwise you were unpatriotic.
