I'll be there for this game as well, this time with a friend who is a Rangers fan. Hopefully I'm the happy one on the hour long car drive home.
Agree with Sam, today and the rest of the series will be interesting to see how they respond. I expect you get a better game tonight.

I will also be there. Hoping the rain holds off.

Doesn't look great for tonight. Still holding strong at 50% chance of t-showers from 6-10 PM. Goes down to 40% at 11.
This is a team that desperately needs a day off. I'm doing a rain dance.

I don't disagree, I just wish it were a slam dunk so I wouldn't have to make the trip.
It's starting to get more like a slam dunk... There's a 75% chance for precip at 7 PM, and 85% at 8 PM.
Seems highly unlikely they get this game in. Seeing to how this is the only trip Texas makes in Baltimore this year, you would think they'd look into a day/night DH tomorrow or Thursday.

It might help the team to get some added rest too.
I forgot how they do this...if I have tickets tonight, could I go to the doubleheader or just one game of it? Or is it a case-by-case basis?
If there is a rain delay, I might go catch The Avengers.

There's no doubt that the team would benefit from a rain out. But a DH would put us right back behind the 8 ball unless Arrieta went 7 or 8 in game 1 of said double header.
I think it is a case-by-case basis. If it's a B2B double header (Say a 3:30 start for game 1, and then game 2 starting immediately after), then I think usually it's single admittance.
If it's day/night (1 PM/7 PM), it would be a case where you'd have to have tickets to both games.

Chavez LF
Hardy SS
Markakis RF
Jones CF
Wieters C
Davis 1st
Betemit 3rd
Reynolds DH
Andino 2nd
Why is Chavez leading off? I just do not understand this.

It really isn't that difficult. Should your (arguably) worst hitter in the lineup get the most plate appearances? Of course not. Nothing else should really matter.

I would have Nick or Andino leading off but that's just me.Yeah, Chavez at leadoff makes no sense.
