We're not getting a foot of snow on Saturday.

https://www.washingt...m=.77228b5394c3

How smug of them. It was 70 degrees on 3/19 and on 3/20 and 3/21 we got a total of 14 inches, at least here in New Market.

I also look at Wunderground.com which is a legit weather site...they use snow accumulation totals in predictions, and I saw 6-8 inches listed there for New Market and saw another site that said up to a foot possible in the region.

I know the weather men are often wrong, but I wouldn't say it's baloney.

But then thats me, being a weather guy again. :???:

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

So you should be happy about the snow!

Definitely, though he's stubborn and we will be in a ditch halfway to the new house before he rescheduled the move.

Moving btw... a logistical nightmare at times. This one really sucks a lot.

Well, at least the roads in Lake Linganore are completely up to code and well maintained.  I'm sure you'll have no problems (sarcasm).

Haa, exactly. Not to mention downtown New Market. Going to be a disaster.

Everyone ready for a foot of snow on Saturday?

Man I think I threw my back out shoveling all that snow this morning.

Same here. I had to do it in shifts, and I think I'm going to take the night off to play some Golden Tee and watch wrestling.

Use Icy-Hot.  And if you messed up your legs (always lift with your legs) try to keep them elevated.  RICE.

This was a real heavy, thick snow.  It took me almost three hours to dig my car out.

Man, it's April and we are getting a foot of snow.  Thanks Obama.

Most intense thunderstorm I can recall in nearly 13 years of living in Canton last night.

Fells Point floods all the time and got it bad again yesterday as well.  Canton is usually a little bit safer from that.  But Hudson Street near the Safeway and Eastern Ave near the park and near the railroad underpass were washed out with water coming up midway on cars.  Tons of trees down as well.

I was fortunate and avoided any damage to vehicle or home.  Some other friends not as lucky.

What’s crazy is that I can be in Canton in 15 minutes and we didn’t get a drop of rain.

May as well talk about this hurricane. Hopefully it’s not too damaging. The last thing we need right now is a bad storm which means we will probably get one

Have friends who are leaving for Siesta Key tomorrow. They were suppoosed to go September of last year for a friend's 40th birthday but a hurricane wiped them out of that trip so they rescheduled for this upcoming week. Now they have had to deal with a pandemic and another hurricane. They're still going, God bless 'em but I dont want to see them for 3 weeks after they get back.
