I think Lee would be a great fit in Baltimore assuming he passes the medical.

I said awhile ago on Sports Tonight that I thought the Ravens should consider ILB in the first round. I'd love to see Mosley fall to us, I think that would be an amazing pick.

BSL: C.J. Mosley

Could the Ravens go defense in Round One?
My fingers are crossed.

Mosley becomes a much more likely option if they don't resign Smith.
On the other hand, I sense the Ravens, like some other teams, my be starting to get leery of early Bama talent.

BSL: Mock Draft 1.0
http://baltimorespor...mock-draft-1-0/
With the NFL draft two months out to the day, a round by round breakdown of who the Ravens could be looking for.
Obviously things will change as free agency rolls along, and compensatory picks are awarded. So look for updates as things begin to happen when the 2014 season officially starts in three days.

Overall I would be fairly displeased if our draft ended up this way.
I don't think Zack Martin is an OT in the NFL, so for me that is a poor choice in the first round. He might be able to a good RT, but OG will end up being his position. He's a good player, but there are other directions I would go in the first round. I do like Jordan Matthews and Norwood later on a lot. Those two would help the WR position a great deal.
Chris Borland I am not a fan of at all. He is very small for the position and in my opinion would not make it in a 3-4 defense where he has to take on blockers and sift through traffic.
A trade back all the way to the 2nd round should net much more than a 4th round pick in a return. That would be a terrible trade IMO.

Love Matthews in R2.
A lot of guys we have talked to have mentioned Borland and like him,

It looks like Lewan will be gone in R1 at pick 17. What would you guys take in R1 if you like Matthews in R2? Mind you, I would take Lewan over Martin, and the trade back scenario is just based on what they did previously, getting a second and fourth for their first round pick?
If he's there, I would be more than happy to take Ebron.
I may take a WR in R1 and not take Matthews on R2.
Just depends on who drops too.

On the topic of Martin... Dan passed along a draft analysis from Lance Zierlein, who in my opinion is a great source. He did some extensive tape study. Sounds like Martin is a solid player with great leadership skills but does not translate to an NFL tackle. Could be a potential RG in the NFL but has a limited ceiling when it comes to athleticism.

I thought he'd be a better fit as an LG, Martin isn't the typical mauler I think of for an RG.

To be fair, Zierlein may not have mentioned either LG or RG specifically. I believe he just said he sees Martin translating to guard in the pros.

I'm certainly not spending the 17th pick on Martin .
Nor would I. Technique is great, but you shouldn't spend a first rounder on a guy with 0 athletic upside. I think he's a player that is what he is at this point.

BSL: Taylor Lewan

Could he slip to Baltimore? Maybe. His strong combine may keep him out of reach but will his character concerns scare some teams anyway?

BSL: Zack Martin
Is he a Guard or a Tackle? Either way he could help Baltimore.
