I need to check out the other Van Morrison stuff more in depth, I'm not all that familiar with his entire catalog...

You're kidding.... right?

Here's a previously unpublished interview from 2005, where Springsteen talks about making Born to Run.

Sorry but I can't think of that song without thinking of this...

Well the post you're quoting is from almost 4 years ago.  I've listened to a lot since then.  Moondance is his opus.

Much to Ricker's delight ;-) here is a quick list of my 10 most favorite albums of the 70s.  I was a tad bored at work today with court cancelled so it's likely I'm missing a few that would normally make the list...

1) Bob Dylan - Blood on the Tracks
2) Bruce Springsteen - Darkness on the Edge of Town
3) Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon4) Bruce Springsteen - Born to Run
5) Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
6) Neil Young - After the Gold Rush
7) The Who - Who's Next
8) The Clash - London Calling
9) Van Morrison - Moondance
10) Led Zeppelin - Untitled (IV)

Would Abbey Road qualify?

Abbey Road is my favorite album ever. But it came out in 1969.

I need to completely redo this. Moondance is now 3

Man. Maybe it’s 2. But I can’t do that to Bruce.

Not sure if I’ve posted this but “Bringing It All Back Home” is Dylan’s best record. And side 2 is the best “side” in music history not named “Abbey Road Medley”
