I have said that we need more quality starts from our starters and we have gotten that thus far this season. Hunter had one last night and Hammel follows it up tonight with a stellar performance. Great series so far.

My take is that the O's aren't the old O's. They aren't laying back and taking the beating like they use to.

Nothing except Hammel look like a guy who has the stuff to lead a staff. Seeing as he has never done that before, I will assume this doesn't keep up but he is nasty.So if the O's hold on here, and take their 2nd early series against the Jays... what do you take from that?
If he is going to be this good, this team will be better than expected.
