I enjoyed Giordano's... deep dish pizza joint. Delicious stuff.
Haha actually heading there for dinner after the game.

Nice, it's BYOB... so hit up a beer store before you go. Makes it even better.

Been there as well, I can vouch for that.
I've been to Frontera Grill, Rick Bayless place (yes Skip's brother), that was pretty good. Also, I've been to Ghiradelli's there, it's really the same thing you'd get in SF, you just don't think of going to Chicago for that.

Go to Murphy's before the game. Enjoy Wrigleyville -- I am insanely jealous but I'll be heading there in August for Os/Cubs.
There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

Also, I've eaten at both Carnivale and Le Colonial (Vietnamese). The former was more fun place, as the name would imply.
I've only been to Chicago twice and one of those times was for my cousins so I was more there for that than touristy reasons, definitely would like to get back there. My biggest regret was the Cubs weren't playing at home when I was there the first time but I did make it to Wrigleyville. I was doing a road trip with my dad and brother from Arizona, so the schedule just didn't work out that way.
Edit: I'd add Garrett's Popcorn to the list, not a meal.

Taking an East Coast road trip with my girlfriend this summer. Our goal is a roughly 50/50 mix of breweries and national parks/hiking. We know we want to hit Hill Farmstead, Maine Beer Co., and Allagash. Additionally, we're thinking Acadia National Park and the Presidential Peaks.
That being said, anyone have any suggestions for breweries, brewpubs, or great hikes/camping spots in New England?

On my way to Wrigley...any must eats/must stops?

Heady Topper dude!
The brewery isn't open to the public at this point =/
But trust me, I'll be searching high and low for cans.

Guys...get to Cozumel. It's relatively cheap, the people there are friendly and the food is awesome.

I stumbled upon this site a few weeks ago.
If you're really into tracking where you have traveled, it is pretty cool. You can track the U.S. counties that you have visited/traveled through. It takes a little bit of time, as you need to insert individual travel destinations and then map those, but it's a fun little thing to do when you have some free time.

Planning on going to Brooklyn for a day or so during the break. Any suggestions?
I've got a few. The Brooklyn Botanical Garden is pretty sweet. Fette Sau has ridiculously good BBQ and whiskey. If I think of any more I'll update this post.

Cool. Pizza will be part of the agenda, just got to figure out which restaurant. Would also like to visit a brewery or two if possible.
