Anyone here that has never been to Wrigley should STRONGLY consider going this year during interleague play...

Before the renovations, I assume?

And yes, you are correct.

New Orleans is a strong possibility as Kelly already mentioned. We already spent done time in NYC to start the year and will probably go back. I want to go to Pittsburgh for the O's series. Otherwise, probably not much else other than plenty of time at the beach house in S. Bethany.

Pedro would you suggest doing a tour of Wrigley?

Just booked our flight and house in Cozumel for the week of 4/13.

http://www.vrbo.com/494697

Even though it's prime spring break time, we found a decent flight -- although it went up $200 bucks overnight -- and the house is $1295 for the week.

Reading reviews of the restaurants and bars there....everything sounds amazing. I can't wait.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Ok, January needs to hurry up and finish.  And February can hopefully come and go as fast as it wants.

I have a trip to Sarasota calling my name!

I'm going to Austin for a bachelor party in March, then tacking on a couple more days in Dallas on the back end.

Just booked a big trek to Peru.  A group of friends are going to be there for 11 days.  Will spend a few days in Lima on either end of the trip, but the middle of the trip will be a 4-day / 3-night Jungle trek that finishes with a day at Macchu Picchu, a day ro two on either end of that in Cuzco, and 2 days in Puno including a daylong tour of Lake Titicaca (hehe).  Very excited for that.

I'd love to get to New Orleans, it's the city in the world I most want to visit.  The Ravens game would be great.  Not sure when it'll be, many months at least and maybe over a year away, but I'm strongly considering NO for my bachelor party.

My girlfriend's sister is now living in England, and will be having a baby in the spring.  I imagine we'll probably put together a trip there in the fall at some point.

Even though I've been there 3 times, I'll likely get my arm twisted into going to Chicago for the O's/Cubs weekend series in August.

It will be worth it -- everything about a trip to Wrigley is worth the cost -- there is zero downside.

Cool Peru trip. I definitely need to see Maccu Piccu before I die.

Haven't been to a game at Wrigley, but my GF has a few friends from college who live in Chicago so we might as well plan a trip there around the end of August. Loved the city the one time I visited, though it was only for a night.

Just saw this now.

I rarely do ballpark tours that are sponsored by the team and there is plenty around Wrigley to do before the game that I probably wouldn't spend my time on game day itself taking the tour.

Now, if you get into town a tad early and have a free afternoon then, sure, go for it.

I'll post more Wrigley-themed (and US Cellular, I guess) thoughts as the O's get closer to taking their trip there in August.

Finally got our road trip plan for this coming week settled. Stops include:

St. Louis Arch

KC Library and Oklahoma Joe's

Hopi Cultural Center

Meteor Crater

Grand Canyon

Horseshoe Bend

Las Vegas

Hoover Dam

Venice Beach

Hollywood

Yosemite National Park

San Francisco

I unfortunately have to be back in Cincinnati next weekend, so I'm flying back from San Fran, but the rest of my friends will be driving the whole way back with stops at Yellowstone and Mt. Rushmore for sure.

It's a whirlwind of a trip.

We'll probably only be spending an afternoon and night there, so I'd love any suggestions for year-round camping locations there. We'll be coming from the south and heading west to San Fran from Yosemite.

Real camping or staying in the tent cabins? For a short hike, do the mist trail. Unfortunately the falls won't be strong this year in all likelihood due to the drought.

Were bringing a tent so were planning on that unless the weather is bad.

The cheaper the better.

There's some good sites in the valley that are easy to get to. Let me know if you want names and I'll get back to you.

Sports Legends Museum...right out front of the stadium.

Fort McHenry...200 year anniversary of the Star Spangled Banner.

B&O Railroad Museum...within walking distance of the stadium.
