Watching Snakes on a plane for the first time. The sad part is someone wrote this, actually sold it, and a distinguished actor like Sam Jackson said "I have to star in this". Although It probably beats Sharknado, Pirannah 3DD, and Arachquake.

Yeah, it's kinda developed into somewhat of a Cult hit in some respects... but yeah, of course it's a terrible movie, just kinda fun at the same time.

Speaking of which, anyone seen The Room?

If we're getting into cult favorites and B-esque movies, this and this must be included.

Those are gold, Jerry.  Gold!

That's the kind of thing you get when you try to write an entire movie around getting Sam Jackson to say the line "I've had it with these monkey-fighting snakes on this Monday-to-Friday plane!"

I knew 'Out of Sight' had a good reputation but damn, didn't know I might consider it better than 'True Romance'.

Saw American Hustle yesterday. Enjoyed it but it was a lukewarm Goodfellas with some really good performances. I think Russell's movies are consistently good, but or great. The Fighter, Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle...they've all been good...just not great.

I haven't seen Hustle but I agree on The Fighter and Silver Linings, very good but not great. I'm seeing The Wolf of Wall Street tonight, hopefully a more than lukewarm Goodfellas style film.

Yeah I love True Romance. If you would've told me Out of Sight was a Tarantino film I would absolutely believe it. Great cast and performances, especially George Clooney. Now I know how Wes Anderson chose him in Fantastic Mr. Fox. Very funny film as well and my easily my favorite Don Cheadle performance. Can't praise it enough.

More obscure marvel franchise. They tie is really solid to the upcoming avengers 2 storyline though.

Prisoners - a good, effective slow burn thriller with great performances and solid, steady direction. They need to make more movies like this. The movie's only flaw is an underused Terrance Howard.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Looking forward to reviewing it on my podcast next week. I almost saw it in theaters. I agree there needs to be more mid-budget films with original stories.
