Devin Hester. And he only has to wait like 2 years. Eyeroll. Amazing returner but come on man.
As a Redskins fan growing up, I'm looking at Brian Mitchell's stats...and yeah Hester was better, with a better peak (though Mitchell has a good bit more volume), but it seems close enough that not a sniff vs 3rd ballot seems odd to me, but whatever.

Are you going to roll those eyes when Justin Tucker only has to wait two years? ST player and all...

Maybe. Actually I bet he's a first ballot guy. Hester had the wow factor going for him.

It seems like Vinatieri is eligible next year so we'll see how long obvious HOF kickers have to wait. Vinatieri only has 3 pro bowls and All Pros though, vs 7 and 5 for Tucker. Tucker is tied for highest PB and has the most AP (Morten Andersen had 7 and 3, FWIW).

I personally think a kicker is a bit higher in the pecking order than a returner. Are there any other primary returners in the HOF or is Hester the first.

Hester is the first. And if Devin Hester is in the Hall, how about Billy White Shoes?

Nice to see Andre Johnson make it. He was a pillar of my fantasy teams for years.
