I wouldn't be a fan because of the service time. There's no reason to waste a year up here.
Yeah, that is the prudent thing to do. Not going to contend in '12, could be contending 6 years from now. I get it. I don't want to give away a year of control. However, if you decided you wanted to bring him up now, I'd hope you could figure out a way to get him him extended prior to 2017 or so.
With the contract he signed, he is not eligible for salary arbitration, so you wouldn't have to worry about that.
Oh well, I can wait until next May.
Ayala enters. O'Day done after 4 pitches.

Yeah, I think it'd be best to milk as much service time as possible out of this because we won't be contending any time soon. Although I'd love to see him tomorrow if possible, lol. I'm 20 minutes fro Harry Grove, so I'll be making a few trips there when he's promoted. That'll hold me over!

Bordick has pulled a 180 today from his weekend series. Maybe like the O's, he's just more comfortable at home. He's been great tonight, IMO.

How has Flaherty looked at 3rd tonight?
Natural. He made a nice play earlier that required him to go to a knee to his left, he swallowed up the ball and bounced to his feet to make a perfect throw to first to retire the batter. I've been happy with him tonight.

Very solid. Couple of nice plays. Seems to play a very smooth 3rd base.

Haha - it's all good, I'm just being stupid. I kinda neglected this board over the weekend and fell behind a bit in the posts counts.
Game threads are where I live too.

Is it just me, or does it seem like there are more dribblers back to the pitcher this year?
Does feel like we have seen a lot (and less broken bats than we were seeing the last couple of years).
