Even with the off day tomorrow, I'm a bit surprised they aren't playing this one as a day game.

We need this one. Need to finish a decent road trip on a positive note. Could end up with a winning road trip if we take this one. And no one wants to get swept, even to a good team like the Angels.

Yeah, I agree with this. Even with a loss, you would have to feel good about a 5-5 record on a 3 city, 10 game trip; but after winning the first two series, it would be disappointing to be swept in LA.

I don't get Wieters being off. He was just off Thursday, and is off tomorrow. Chris is right, should be at DH if you don't want him catching today.
Tough match up as it is, I don't like not seeing Reimold and Wieters' names out there.

Feels like the 'B' lineup today.
Chavez grounds back to Haren. 1 out.
I'm starting to think of Buck as a little bit of a liability...

Liability might be stronger than I would word it. If you have some longer thoughts, I'd like to read them though.
I do think, with tomorrow being an off day, that the O's should have had their best lineup out there today. Try to avoid the sweep, try and win the road trip.
Aybar grounds it down the lf line, goes into 2nd with the double. Right by Betemit who was playing in.

It's just little things. Leaving Gregg in too long, having Patton face 5 more rightys than leftys so far, the reimold debacle, etc.
Friend told me yesterday that he has a theory that a manager can't add value in game situations, only take value away (intuitively this makes SOME sense). In that case, Buck takes away value by doing the things described above.
