And don't worry BSL, I don't think you have to be an NBA fan to enjoy it.

First 3 episodes of the second season of Wheel of Time came out today. I watched the first one. It wasn't very good, but I'll keep watching because I enjoyed the books but I'm not expecting much.
Episode 2 was also a bit of a chore to get through, but happy to say that episode 3 was much better. Deviating from the book/s but that's okay.
I also liked the little inside the episode clip. The producer said the following about the Seanchan: "we need the audience to be "bleeping" terrified of the Seanchan. I feel like they accomplished that with this episode.

I love Winning Time on HBO.

Loved season 1. Haven't had time to start season 2 yet, but I can't wait to.

As Only Murders in the Building continues through its 3rd season, I have to say its overall quality and longevity has to put it in the top 5 for streaming shows on my list. It's consistently been a fun delight.

Wheel of Time continues to improve. Episodes 3, 4, and 5 have all been much better. They are really leaning into the fact that the Seanchan are terrible people.

The trailer looks surprisingly passable. Walton Goggins could be enough to carry it.

I checked out S1E1 or both Letterkenny (Hulu) and Shrinking (Apple TV+) and enjoyed both. Letterkenny is pretty damn quirky but I think I'll grow to love it. Shrinking hit for me right away. It's pretty sad, but hits all the right notes. I just love Jason Segel.

There's a reason Reacher is Amazon's most watched show this year even though season 2 just dropped.

Has anybody watched the new Monarch series with Kurt Russell on Apple? It’s not bad at all and the special effects are really good for television.
I thought it was fine, and deeply unremarkable.

Jon Stewart is set to return to host the Daily show on Mondays through the end of the calendar year. Last Week Tonight has become my goto for political humor, but I may have to tune in here and there to watch Stewart.

His return has spawned 1000 stupid thinkpieces why it's bad.
I'm looking forward to it.
