Love seeing Kevin Ollie, Ricky Moore, and Kevin Freeman all coaching for UCONN, something cool about that.

Had that one wrong... really didn't expect UConn to win. Congrats to them.
Be interesting to see the early Top 25's for next year that will start coming out.

Damn would it be awesome to be a UConn senior.
Ha. Yea. Giffey and Napier win two titles!
Nice.

Meanwhile, they should have lost in the first round...St Joe's had them beat.

UConn now has as many titles as dook and one less than UNC (they have the same since 1960). You have to put them in that upper echelon with those guys, Kentucky, Kansas and UCLA.
100% agree... especially given their last 2 decades.

That's insane to think about, but clearly the truth..
When I started watching College Hoops they were awful year after year after year...
Corny Thompson was their star...
Google him.

The line was 3 this morning, 2.5 this afternoon, and now 2..Kentucky has won their last 4 games by miniscule margins and at the last second. So that's probably a fair play.
Total is down .5 from my last post...
I'm not betting, but my play tonight would be UNDER 136..Game is too tough to call in my opinion.
Gun to my head, i'd take UCONN.
If I bet on these games, I would not have been wrong on the over/under, though. That's a really high number for this game.

I hadn''t regretted quitting gambling...
Until tonight.
Oh well, I'm better off.

Yes, it's pretty remarkable what they have done in 15 years....especially when you consider the last 2 titles were out of nowhere.

4 titles in 15 years is awesome - but I still don't think that alone qualifies them to be places in the same category as UNC, Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, etc.
As Rob mentioned their last 2 titles came out of nowhere. I don't think anyone thinks UCONN was the best team in the sport during their last 2 runs. They got hot at the right time and played great in the tourney. Which doesn't diminish the achievement at all, just shows that as exciting as the NCAA tournament is it is probably the playoff series that is least effective at determining the "best" team.
Not at all trying to hate on UCONN, I have nothing against them particularly now that Calhoun is gone. Just think we place a little too much emphasis on what happens in the tourney. As was mentioned, St. Joes had them beat in round 1.
