2 for 3 tonight with a double and a triple.
For the season, he is now 8 for 27, with 3 bb's, and 14 k's. Three games already with 3 k's.

Could the ks be a result of adjusting from going from playing on the west coast minor leagues to playing on the east coast? I heard that he can hit pretty well, so I'm happy that he was able to clear through waivers earlier this year.

Through 4/17: 11 for 42 (.262), 5 doubles, 1 triple, 1 hr, 6 rbi, 4 bb's, 23 k's.
Last year in the PCL he had 54 bb's, and 179 k's. I don't think going from the PCL to the International League is the explanation.

To be fair, the switch from PCL to IL could be a small part. Some teams (Blue Jays, I'm looking at you) keep their top pitching prospects out of the PCL.

He obviously has some pop but he makes Mark Reynolds look like a contact hitter. Wow.
