Also, they have loaded up on some picks recently apparently, so they still have second and third round ammo.

I've seen the ammo argument but I still don't like it. A first is hugely important in the vacuum.Minnesota feels they have a SB roster and between that and moving into the new stadium, they felt this was worth it.
Also, they have loaded up on some picks recently apparently, so they still have second and third round ammo.
That said, if you have the roster and Shaun Hill is holding you back, I understand the reasoning even if the particulars are horrible.

At his contract and history just a third should have been fair.
Philly has been consistent that this is what you needed to deal to get him.

Kudos to Philly, but it's still robbery.

They just WAY overpaid for the wrong guy. There just weren't many options out there.
Brilliant job by Roseman and the Eagles. They wanted to deal Bradford to begin with, but they waited and got this incredible value.

Stefon Diggs - 8 targets, 8 catches, 167 yards and a TD. Still a few minutes left in the game. Making Maryland proud.

Him and Bridgewater...and then you deal a first rounder to get Bradford because you feel you are a contender and potentially lose your RB? Terrible luck.

Peterson out with a knee injury. Can't put weight on it.

It is terrible luck but McKinnon is supposed to be good. The AP era was going to end at some point.
Bradford is actually an upgrade over Bridgwater. Sucks to give up a first rounder for him but their back was against the wall.
