Same guys.  Except for Torrey Smith, and Adrian Moten, and Da'Rel Scott, and Alex Wucjak, and Travis Baltz, and LaQuan Williams, and Antwine Perez, and Paul Pinegar.

But other than that, sure, same guys.

And the more it looks like it, a flukey season from DOB.

Yeah - given how everything has unfolded for DOB, I think it might be fair to say this. Very good point.

Yeah, I was upset when he left Maryland. I really liked him both on-and-off the field. But then he couldn't cut it at Wisconsin. And is now at some D-2 school. So it's looking more like he was the "issue" not Edsall -- although Edsall was an issue in other areas. If he had made at Wisconsin, Edsall would've been ripped to shreds and probably deservingly so (I know I'm not big on the "if" game, but the fact is he was ACC Freshman or Rookie of the Year -w/e they call it).

O'Brien was great as a freshman. He hit the sophomore slump and never recovered. Edsall wanted to run the spread option, and O'Brien is a West Coast QB. Wisconsin wasn't the best fit for him either. He's a good guy, but C.J. Brown fits this offense perfectly. Certainly wish all the best for Danny in whatever his future holds for him. He gave us a year of good memories.

Screw Danny O'Brien.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

I intentionally didn't bring up Danny OB because I think an argument can be made that Ralph made him a good QB that year.

Now, I don't agree with that argument for several reasons, but I do think it is a valid one.

That's more than fair in terms of Ralph (or James Franklin).

He worked in one of three systems. If he had just failed in Edsall's, Edsall would be looking worse IMO. But the fact, he couldn't cut it when he chose Wisconsin shows me that DOB likely overperformed his freshman year to some extent. He's not even in the mainstream, you'd think some BCS program would want him?
