I think signing Al Harrington is a bit of an underrated move. Always liked him, seems like the perfect kind of guy to acquire to come off the bench. I'm optimistic that the Wizards, health permitting, will be in the mix for the playoffs. It should be a more competitive season in DC than we've seen in a few years.

What an orginal thought. I love how all these owners make these kind of statements, yet they are very "patient" to say the least in their approach of building a winning team (which is the right one usually).

He should have fired Grunfeld the second he took over operations -- after he changed the name back to Bullets, of course.
With Wall, Beal and Porter in the fold, the team will be fun to watch and, health being a factor, SHOULD contend for a playoff spot.

Shame about Okafor not being healthy. Is there any timetable for his return?

I've got to say - I won't be upset at all if the Wizards miss the playoffs. I wouldn't mind having a lottery pick in what's supposedly the best draft in years, and I also figure it would have to be the last straw for Grunfeld.

Wizards visit Brazil; have team dinner at Fogo De Chao.
I would happily go to an Olive Garden in Italy, just so I could troll everyone I know when I got home.
Just making Keith Law's head explode would be fantastic.

That's really sad IMO.

I've heard they serve very good authentic Chinese food at McDonald's in Beijing.
