Great move by the Sixers.  Doc has his moments, but he is a good coach

Yeah, he has a proven track record and will be an upgrade over Brett Brown.  I like Brett Brown and that he was given a chance after enduring the "Trust the Process", but he clearly hasn't gotten the job done.

I am not a Sixers fan, and in fact, I usually root against anything Philly, but the 76ers seemed to play under their talent level.  I think Doc elevates them.

Embiid has played in 37 games this year. Philly has played 55.  

If Embiid plays in each of the 76ers last 17 games...  he'll have played in 54 / 72  (75%). 

I don't see how you can be in MVP conversation missing 25% or more of the season.

His inability to shoot at all, including at the line is a huge issue.
