Looks like Adams IS going back to the EPL but with Bournemouth and not Chelsea!

De Bruyne out for 4 months because of his hammy.  This is the same one that forced him off early in the UCL Final.

Well the first trophy of the season was won today (UEFA Super Cup) and surprise, surprise, surprise, Man C won it. Tied Sevilla 1-1  in regulation. Then directly to PKs and they won 5-4. Sevilla's 5th shot went over the top. First 9 attempts were all drilled home.

I understand Caicedo having his heart set on Chelsea and them making a bigger offer, but Lavia taking less money to be Caicedo's back up instead of starting at Liverpool? Brutal.

I don't know much about Endo but I'm not too pumped about him, wonder if we can get Kalvin Phillips.

Amazing comeback by Liverpool against Newcastle. Goal down and down to ten men with Virgil on a red card. Nuñez comes on and scores twice to win.

10 is the new 11 for Liverpool this season.

Excellent article in the Ringer. Like the stuff they had to say about BHA!

Fulham loses Mitrovic to the Saudis and now sounds like they're likely to lose Joao Palinha to Bayern Munich.  Probably their 2 best field players gone in a blink.  I'm beginning to understand why fans of European soccer generally only follow the big clubs haha.

My wife and I watched that game and she even commented...."why do they even bother with var if its so useless."

Worst part of all is that they survived down two men only to give up an OG in the final seconds.

Almost the shock of the season so far. Luton Town had Liverpool on the ropes 1-0 bit Liverpool tied it up in the 5th minute of extra time. Dang I was so hoping they'd hold on.

Steve, is Raya really a significant upgrade over Ramsdale?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  The problem is that Arteta is in a bind. Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't.

They both are very good keepers. But they also both have periods of some gaffes. Ramsdale had some howlers so Arteta switches to Raya. Now Raya hasn't set the world on fire either.

So what does Arsenal do over the next month?

1. Stay with Raya (who I think MIGHT have more updside).

2. Switch back to Ramsdale.

3. Go bring in another keeper in the January transfer window.

With all the money they have AND their best shot at an EPL title since 2003-2004. 20 years ago. I have no idea which way they will go but I'd lean toward going back to Ramsdale. I just think he's likely to handle the pressure the second half a big better.
