Damn I was just thinking about him this afternoon. Remembering being taught how to pitch and my coach showed a framed picture he had of Seaver with his knee almost dragging in the dirt of the mound to illustrate the drop and drive delivery.

The required 4 Repub senators said they wont go along with him on this... so, that's both unexpected and good...Lisa Murkowski, Mitt Romney, Chuck Grassley, and (wonder of wonders) Susan Collins... so, RBG gets her deathbed wish...

False alarm... only the 2 ladies are confirmed... the others are just maybe's.... mea cukpa....
p.s. Upon reflection, I'm kinda doubtful that Collins will keep her word past the election if she wins it, given what we saw her do re: Kavanaugh...
p.p.s. The Senate election in Arizona with Mark Kelly is a replacement election... so if Kelly wins he can be sworn in on Nov 30... which would drop the required number of Repubs from 4 to 3...
