Bordick said Nick is putting up HOF numbers.

O's HOF, sure.  If he put up a few more '08 type seasons, or 2nd half '12 seasons... he could be one of the all-time O's... but why would Bordick use that type of hyperbole about Nick...  very good player... and not that AS games are the best barometer, but I'm pretty sure there are no HOF players who never made an AS game.

Wow.  High strike-zone tonight.

Would be great to score early and often tonight.... We need a laugher after the last week of shitty baseball.

Orioles are doing an excellent job of making Lindblom work.

Yeah, 23 pitches through the first 3 batters.  Of course if/when AJ bats, could be a whole other story.

C'mon Jupiter.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

Jones gets the bat through the zone...  2 on, 2 out.

I don't know if it's possible, but I'd much rather Nick sacrifice a little of his contact in order to try and drive the ball more. I'm over him being any more than a 20 HR guy, but it seems as though his approach is now to make contact at all cost and not really worry about anything more than singles. We need more from our #3 hitter.

Soto going after Nick at 2nd... shades of Pudge Rodriguez.

Davis grounds out... to the 2nd, no score.

Really need to start cashing in with runners on base. We've let these Texas pitchers off the hook far too often this series. The Holland game was ridiculous.

Sucks to not score there, but 31 pitches is nice.

Brooks!

Remember when he used to call games on WMAR....  would be interesting to see what reactions he would get today.
