Well if Kerr is there you got to add the baby faced killer of BJ Armstrong.

I should add him to my list over David Robinson.

If you all don't have Dan Majerle on your lists I can't take them seriously.

Thanks.Oh , so the Robinson discussion was the warm up for the Malone-Barkley main event.
I'll say this, Seth and Weber's passion for the NBA shine through here and it's fun listening to that.
Now, it'll be interesting to hear another NBA nut in Cerrano weigh in on the Barkley-Malone debate. Also weigh in on Robinson and Pippen as well.
Personally, without a whole lot of research I think I would have Malone and Barkley both in the lower half of the top 10 and very close to each other.
I assume Pedro doesn't even have Pippen in the top 20 if he's gone that far on a list.
As for Malone-Barkley, Simmons has them 18 and 19 in his book and made a convincing case for Malone being ahead. I just can't see the logic for having Charles ranked much higher and to have Stockton much higher.
Btw, Seth got off easy on ranking Kidd so high. PG lover.

Guilty as charged!
I guess looking back, I overrated him a bit..

I've got my 10. Just need the order. And no, Pippen isn't on it. He likely wouldn't have made my top 20 either.

Longevity and defense are the reasons to go with Malone imo. And my longevity argument isn't inconsistent with my Emmitt Smith argument because we're talking about Karl still being great late in his career, while Smith was far from great.

As for the Stockton helped Malone a ton argument, well it goes both ways. There isn't much of a sample of one playing without the other during their primes due to their incredible durability and longevity, but there was an 18 game stretch to start the year Karl won his first MVP, and in that stretch he averaged over 25 a game, close to 11 boards, and shot 52%. They went 11-7 in that stretch.
