Wade should never take long contested two's.

Heat in control but Spurs hanging around.

If Spurs were to  steal this one, I would finally be concerned.

LeBron is really struggling tonight. Good thing Wade and the others have stepped up. The Spurs turning it over more is a big difference vs game one.

Quite the run led by some great D. It doesn't hurt that James has stepped it up either.

Duncan and Leonard a combined 7 for 25.

Well as the responsible podcaster that I am, I watched the game and will watch GoT and Mad Men later. Don't spoil please!

I actually would have done the same regardless of the podcast.

Spurs will take two of three in SA, game 6 will be a Miami blow out and game 7 will be epic.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

Miami just has another gear from everyone else in the league. They kicked in in tonight late in the 3rd and coasted.

Seriously, at one point midway through the 3rd I'm ready to concede that these are two evenly matched teams and then Miami finds that next gear. And it's different than a standard NBA run that all teams make at times. These guys just pour it on you quickly and viciously.  All of a sudden, it's like yeah, Miami is the superior team.

Sure, there are night when Miami doesn't find that extra gear but the thing is, even when they don't, they are still competetive and give themselves a chance to win. And the thing is it only takes hitting that gear for a 5-6 min stretch to make all the difference.

You just can't ignore that Miami controls their own destiny. This has always been about them. If they don't win the title it's because they lost it. I guess thats been my point with Weber. It's not that Miami couldn't possibly lose. It's the fact that they are clearly the best team out there and if they lose, they have no one to blame but themselves.
