Yep. I think the show took a risk to go there, and it was somewhat controversial. It really shook me up a bit and got me to think about this stuff from both sides a lot more than I used to.
I guess I was ahead of the curve on that, but anyway, we're probably pushing the envelope with this discussion. Maybe we can expand on it during BSL night!

Wow, just checking in to the game and I see Haren and Garcia in a pitcher's duel? I would have thought there would have been more hits and runs so far.

Ray Knight is terrible too. But when you're backing up FP Santangelo I'm not exactly expecting Red Barber.God, Bob Carpenter's voice is like fingernails on the chalkboard....god, he's awful!

Garcia tonight is proof that velocity does not necessarily equal stuff. Garcia has terrific stuff tonight throwing an 86 MPH fastball.

When I plan on going down to the park I plan to post in the other thread i started. if anyone else happens to be heading down the same night I'd def be down for meeting up before or after the game.

Garcia is doing everything you would hope he would since he got called up.
Yup. He's nto going to beat himself. I love that in a pitcher. Certainly there are going to be games where teams get to him but he doesn't beat himself.

Yeah, I kind of felt bad because you started it as a going to a game thing, and it obviously went in another direction. I'll be sure to post in the other thread whenever I head down for more games.

I think we get to Haren this inning. His luck has to run out. We've hit a lot of balls hard and he's going through the lineup the 3rd time.
