On a plane. Was that an actual sac bunt or a bunt for hit attempt that became a sacrifice? Awful to have him sacrifice bunting in the first damn inning if they did.

Words cannot describe how much I hate a 1st inning bunt with one of the best hitters on the team. Its just so damn stupid.

I think it was a hybrid. He was trying for the hit, but with the idea of getting Nate to third as well.

It looked like it was Manny doing it on his own, trying to catch them off guard and get a hit while also doing the sacrifice. But it was poorly executed, popped it in the air, right in front of the pitcher, and  got thrown out at first, though it was fairly close at 1st. Either way, just a poor idea, and hopefully Buck is in his ear right now.

Yeah, I also would guess that Manny did that on his own.

Great job by Flaherty to be in just the right spot to get that ball past Davis.

Little jam here... no long ball's here Freddie, buckle down, give up a run or two, bend don't break.

I hope Wieters called off Garcia there. He made no effort for that.

Manny did it on his own. Hate it. Too good a hitter to give yourself away.

Now, Was has 2 on and none out with a bloop and a bunt.

So crafty. if any of our young guys had half the brain and feel for pitching of Garcia we'd have a few TOR guys.

Gotta tip your cap to Garcia. I respect the guy. He just doesn't have much, except smarts and guts. Things you can't quantify.

Seeing those wounded warriors upsets me for multiple reasons, but can't talk about all of them on here. It's good that they apparently have good attitudes about their situations, though.

Make a political FB post about it, I'm interested in your thoughts.
