It's been a tale of 2 seasons for Gio so far... After getting off to a poor start in April (6 starts, 5.34 ERA, 5 IP per start), he has rebounded nicely in his 4 May starts, to the tune of a 1.67 ERA, while avering 6.2 innings a start.

 

Some other peripherals: His BABIP is at .240 (Career avg. .286), LD% up to 22%, SwStr down to 16%, 3.82 FIP.
