Ok, that's it. Mind is made up. It's time to extend Davis to a decent sized deal right now. I had all kinds of faith in him when he came over from TEX, but this is even better than I thought he'd be.

Can't see that play enough. It just never gets old.

Machado, Trout, and Harper all debuting last season is pretty crazy. Obviously Harper had all the hoopla before he ever played a game, and Trout was sort of the darling of last summer, but Manny's numbers are right up there. He'd be talked about so much more if he had come up another year.

I love that ESPN has the pitch count in the bottom right hand corner.

Oh my, he was safe. Great play (other than the throw) by Casilla though.

At first look, that call at 1B was awful....but in our favor, so I'm happy! Nice grab on both ends by both Casilla AND Davis.

I thought he was clearly safe at first but the YES replay made it look very close.

Yep, may have actually been the right call. That's crazy. Definitely didn't think that was that close first time I saw it.

Are you watching the ESPN telecast? Is it better than MASN? I like Kurk also...he's the most fair of all the baseball guys...Gammons used to KILL the O's and he pissed me off....damned Boston HOMER!

Yep, their camera's are better, and it's nice to get an outside perspective that isn't FOX sometimes.

I think this crew does a good job. I know it's incredibly uncool to like anything ESPN does these days, but I like them.

That's 60 pitches for CC through 4... on pace to be up to 105 through 7. Hopefully we can get to him before then. Don't like having to face the back end of that BP down.
